Stark App Studio
Chroma Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026
Overview
Chroma is an offline period-tracking app by Stark App Studio. This policy explains what information is stored by the app and how it is used.
Data stored on your device
Chroma stores the information you enter or choose inside the app, including birth year, cycle and period settings, cycle logs, symptoms, moods, sex tags, energy, sleep, notes, reminder settings, language and appearance settings, App Lock preferences, and any photo you choose as a Today background.
That information is stored on your device using Apple's local storage. If iCloud device backup is enabled for your device, Apple may include Chroma's local app data in that backup. Chroma does not provide its own account system or cloud sync service.
Data collection, tracking, and sharing
Chroma does not create accounts, does not use a server, and does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking SDKs. The app does not send your cycle logs, health information, selected photos, or settings to Stark App Studio.
We do not sell or share your app data. If you contact us by email, we use your email address and message only to respond to and handle your request.
Device permissions
- Notifications are used only for reminders you enable in the app.
- Face ID or device authentication is used only when App Lock is enabled. Biometric authentication is handled by iOS; Chroma does not receive your biometric data.
- The photo picker is used only when you choose a Today background photo. Chroma stores the selected image locally in the app's storage.
Exporting and deleting data
You can export your logs as CSV or delete your profile and logged days from Settings at any time. Deleting data in Chroma removes the local app data; it does not manage copies that may already exist in device backups or files you exported.
